#JuneForJesus

Isaiah 43:19 "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." ——— Hello everyone! I ask that you please hear what I have to say. It's almost June! My birthday month! But lately people have made June all about pride, and it makes me kinda sad. So let's start something new in the Christian and Jesus loving community! My brother's and sisters hear me out. #JuneForJesus! **What's June for Jesus?** It's exactly what it sounds like! Making June a month to focus on Jesus! The man who suffered unimaginable pain for our sins, so that we could be forgiven just by asking him and believing **What is the goal?** To glorify and show your love for Jesus! Maybe even bring others to him *#What do I do?** Anything! You can make it a daily verse challenge if you'd like, or just post doodles and art of personal testimonies, your love for Jesus, or just art with a bible verse pasted to it! Whatever you feel would glorify Jesus at your own pace **Do I have to be a Christian or believe to join?** Nope! You can be Catholic or even an Atheist to join in, as long as you respect each other's beliefs and Do Not make something mocking Jesus **Are there any rules?** Not really? This is my first time doing something like this so it's pretty loose and unmoderated. But I ask that whatever you do, do it to glorify God or show some kind of appreciation to him. He created us and loves us, even when it's hard to believe. **Is there a time limit?** Nope! *Technically* It ends at the end of June, but that doesn't mean you have to stop! You could even host a Jesus for July! If you have any other questions or just wanna talk about Jesus, don't be afraid to leave a comment! Feel free to share personal testimonies! I will not tolerate any hate comments or anything disrespectful. Honest questions are always allowed. Please remember the golden rule when replying to other people. ——— Whether you actually read the whole thing or not, whatever your belief is..Know that you are always loved and cherished, even when you feel alone, there is always someone out there who is thinking about you <3

The Centurion (Repost)Getting one last submission in just under the wire for #JuneForJesus

One of my favorite passages - but also one of the most baffling to me - is the account of Jesus' interaction with a Roman Centurion whose servant had fallen very ill. The Centurion sent for Jesus, believing that He had the power to heal the sick. Declaring that he wasn't even worthy to have Jesus come into his home, he asked simply the the word be spoken, knowing that would be sufficient for the miracle of healing to be performed. It's said that Jesus marveled at the man's faith, stating that He had not found the likes of it in all of Israel. Whenever I read or hear of this account, I'm reminded of how seldom I even come close to measuring up to this enormous example of faith. May we all remember the one in whom our faith is worthy to be placed, may our faith be exercised and increased, and may we ever give praise and honor to the Lord.

All I can think of when I hear Centurion is Battlestar Galactica (the original one) 🤣

I don't know if it would be prideful to say this, but I feel like I kinda have faith like that... I mean, I pray for something and then I just believe it's gonna happen. Like that one part of the Bible where Jesus says if you ask for something and believe without a doubt it will happen, then it will happen. Then I start to doubt myself for what I'm asking or for assuming God's gonna give it to me just cuz I believe He will. I mean, it sounds kinda selfish if I'm being honest 😭 Idk, maybe I'm stupid.
Love this beautiful work of art, and your message. Very powerful 🔥
One of the greatest acts of faith today is believing that Jesus forgives you
This looks amazing!!
And I really like this one as well, it’s a great example of faith and the understanding of what it means to have it. The Roman Centurion (actually didn’t know he was called that in English, interesting) knew that if Jesus said it it would happen, just like how he would say things to his servants or soldiers under him to follow his orders and he would without doubt know they would do it and it would be done, because that’s how it works, it’s amazing how he saw and understood the authority of Jesus and that he fully believed from the words alone.
(Sorry for possible grammar mistakes, hopefully what I wrote makes sense haha)
