Art vs Inspiration [BDTTRAS]Why not am i right (: Thank you @lalelulottee for making this challenge 🌶️🔥

Definitely hard to choose between a plethora of artists, so here we go:

( 1 ) ILYA REPIN >>

The use of the genre realism and how he paints deep and unsettling expressions (particularly in this piece 'Ivan The Terrible and His Son Ivan;) , along with expressions of content, anguish, melancholy really showcase life in Russia through his subjects is worthy of applause

( 2 ) NORMAN ROCKWELL >>

The 'All American' poster child; his ability to freeze moments in time and tell stories puts you is a daze of nostalgia. His work feels prideful and homely but he's not afraid to critique his home too.

( 3 ) DEAN CORNWELL >>

The man is known for his murals but I know him from how he is able to leave his work 'incomplete', to leave voids of space to emphasize the focus onto his subjects. His ability to go from muted palettes to complete vibrancy is enviable.

( 4 ) JOHN SINGER SARGENT >>

Better hide them shoulders, they are scandalous lul!! Anyways, the messy but contained brushworks creates a dreamlike haze which bodes well with the lush and lively landscapes.

( 5 ) BORISLAV MITKOV >>

The sketchiness of his linework along with the rough and heavy textured brush works makes his character designs pop on the canvas.

( 6 ) RAEL LYRA >>

A mad genius i'll say. His concept art are phenomenal. his ability is exaggerate body parts and add on mechanical and biomechanical appendages is the type of work you dont normally see in sci fi often.

( 7 ) JORGE JIMENEZ >>

His work is brutal. The linework and shading captures the dynamic the fast paced action scenes and not one panel looks stiff. It all just flows, one after the other.

( 8 ) GIORGIO BARONI >>

The linework😩👌, the hard and mechanical surfaces is a Mecha fan's wet dream. It's so clean and the use of the shadows really give it all weight, form, and depth.

I saw #4 in person! In the Biltmore estate in North Carolina. The owners of the estate wanted to commemorate the home's architect by hiring a painter to paint him, and the artwork would be placed in one of the rooms of the house. I just thought the painting had a cool history. (correct me if I'm wrong I don't really remember that well lol)
