So I haven't been deleting any of my notifications. Idk why it just never occurred to me that you can delete them. Is the app faster if you clear out all that? Has anyone been doing that? Or is anyone else like me. I have notifications from the beginning of time..

The only times I’ve ever deleted my notifications were when they were harassment comments from our infamous, & were actually separate people, hate trolls who just spam commented nasty stuff to everyone who recently posted something.
I didn’t want to read that mess after blocking their late stuff accounts so I deleted their pathetic attempts at “harassment.”
I have no idea of Artfol would run faster or not, as part of the speed is up to the server, part of it is your wi-fi, & then another part seems to be the device you use.

I check them, but never delete them. Sometimes I might need to go back through them and check something.
