2021 Christmas Advent Event: Day 18 - Santa's Sleigh

This wasn't exactly my first idea, but to save time I thought of something different.

This drawing may give off different vibes from all the other drawings I've made for this event, but I have a good message to send that may represent this picture well.

--------------------------------------------------

The more we grow up, the more we start to desaturate our perspective in life depending on who we are. Our environments and their atmospheres start to become less of a wonderland, and are viewed as canvases of sorrowful gloom. The reality that things are not as bright as we thought they were during our youth, we stop believing in what was once purity. In the end of it all, even though we are older, our child-like selves remain at its finest. When we laugh at immature jokes, when we dance and sing wildly, when we tease our friends or family for fun; We're just bigger children. Life may not always be our greatest friends, but it still gives us the littlest moments to cherish not just with ourselves, but with others. We can see the world for how it is, but by being alive, we can think of what we can do during our time in this world.

Because in this dark world, there can be color.

During our time in this world, we can spread the power of color. In a black and white world where we wish it could be gray, we can paint our canvases from a blank state to a miraculous image of our dreams, passions and desires. And with that image we created, we will set it down on the Earth's surface, and let it shine to all who sees it. People can witness the greatness of how inspiration can drive an individual to their best selves. Filled with so much courage and determination to achieve what they've been aiming for for so long, they will suffer the long and grueling process of reaching their goals because it means that much to them.

Life doesn't have to be boring; A single hue can change everything. It can feel more exciting to look forward to future opportunities, and the more we learn through our struggles while embracing life, our colors can shine brighter than the sun or moon.

--------------------------------------------------

I'm currently sleep deprived, so I probably could've said this a lot better, but I hope I was able to get the message across. When I added the color red onto the sled, the drawing already felt different to me. Seeing how a vibrant red sticks out from a canvas full of various shades of gray, it's as if the drawing gained a lot of personality from a simple change. Like I said, this wasn't my original idea for this prompt, but it seems like with saving time, I made something that could be seen as a little bit more meaningful. This drawing may not be as bright or exciting as my other drawings, but surely the touch of red is enough to be eye-catching.
