I started digital art on Corel Painter, but Procreate is my favorite by far. I'd use it exclusively if only they supported larger file sizes. I've tried Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, and Krita but don't use them much.

Procreate, it's so simple and straightforward, yet it satisfies what I need from a drawing software.

I miss PS CS2 . It was my bread an butter. But the shut down the activation servers, so I can't install it on my new computers anymore.

procreate and autodesk sketchbook, hands down
the former is much more functional and has a lot more features, but sketchbook was an amazing free alternative before it shut down

Clip studio -- it's compatible for Photoshop, so great for work. I prefer their interface than ps, and prefer CSP assets and brushes more

I draw on an iPad so I find Procreate is my go-to. The layout is super professional and I find the settings super easy to use and mess around with ^^
