QOTD Q: Why is your favorite OC your favorite?
A: Well, let's see — Miles is a character involved in a roleplay with my sister.
On average, we RP 6 hours a day. The RP has been ongoing since November last year. So, about 300 days, about six hours a day, is about 1800 hours.
1800 hours is about 75 days, which is over two months.
So, I have spent a collective 2 ½ straight months playing Miles.
You could say I'm a little attached to him.

Vlad accidentally became my favourite recently. He’s such a fun character to write, he’s a seductive mass-murderer who’s been alive for over 1000 years so he doesn’t really care about the consequences of his actions. I get to do so many more fun things with him especially since he’s an antagonist. Though I kinda hate him too since he’s also the reason that my only straight character is no longer straight.

Oh man I have multiple answers for this
-Shokku, one reason being a fanchild for my OTP Kamijirou, but he just makes me super happy in general, and I enjoy projecting a lot of my nostalgic interests onto him! He’s got me through some pretty rough patches, and I would not be the same today without him!
-Garrus and Zoey are ones I was not expecting to become big favs of mine (as well as my fixation on the Moonlanders and aliens in general), but they have and I’m so happy they have! Like Shokku, they’ve done so much for me and I would NOT be the same today without them! They’ve been super big comforts for me, especially Garrus, and I’m super happy to have made them!!!
-Cici, because I just have SUCH a blast projecting all my nostalgic interests and such onto her, and it just makes me super happy to feel like I’m reliving the 2000’s and early 2010’s once again!!!
-The Shuri Squad are definitely big favs of mine! More particularly Shuri, as well as Nina, I had them all the way since 2013 (Octavia and Fenton didn’t come into play until like 2018-2019), and I’m super proud on how much I built up the story for this team’s universe and how far it’s come, and it’s a big passion project of mine that I really wanna make someday! Just a mish mash and love letter to a ton of my interests throughout the years!!!
-Daneen, oh man Daneen, I have SUCH a special history with him!!! He used to be a Kirby OC all the way back in 2011, and I turned him into a full on OC in 2012, and I’d draw him all the time, and my big nostalgia for him is one of the reasons I love him so much!!! Plus officially making him an alien species is another reason why I love him because I love aliens so much omg :’)

I think my most favorite is Methia! (Second being Serenity from my story)
Reason being is because I’ve developed Methia in a way that both fits her character with what I’ve experienced and how my personality is. Though, of course, I’ve also given her some of her own traits. Those being; having a feral personality/manner that separates her completely from her peers. She also tends to be a bit rude in a way, but can overall be a real sweetheart depending on those she’s really close with. She can also act aggressive and overly protective of those she cares about if she sees them being hurt in a way, even if its just a teasingly matter, but she learns to take it lightly after if they’re just joking around and they’ve let her know afterwards.
She also tends to spend a lot time alone, as she feels like she doesn’t belong or fit in with any of her peers and/or friends.

My favorite has to be my Webtoon protagonist, Aranea Viduo. I love writing her quirky personality into stories. I also think her crush on my other protagonist, Rin Kanjiru, is adorable as well! She’s a mechanic, university student, and a magical girl all in one!

Alex is my favorite OC of mine and I guess he became my favorite because I started developing him more and giving him more attention? Plus I used to roleplay a lot so,,, yeah there’s that too, plus I love to draw him and so he’s pretty much the character that’s gotten me more comfortable with drawing humanoids

My favorite is a lass named Lilium.
I'm enthralled in her unique thought process and how she interprets the world around her. It leads her to have very unique but extremely character focused opinions on things. She's a wonderful ray of sunshine and it helps that she's a load of fun to draw.
Plus her struggle is kinda like watching my kid grow up and that makes me happy.

Bc both of them were just like me in two very different, polar opposite times in my childhood and teenhood and I find myself balancing between both kinds of people! I'm bad at learning about myself and it kinda helps me to write a "totally not me" character to see myself better!

My fave is Akaya- i became obsessed with fairy tail and made an oc — it took me so long to make her the way she is. she started out as a mary sue and now shes an sibling that cant stand being alone :')
