I’ve never heard of golden wattles - i’m nowhere near australia - but i loved learning about them!! “little balls of joy” is what i called them in my notes
spent a while trying to make the ink illustration work and then a 3 min doodle in color is the version i like best. typical.
the canola season has just gone but i adore the big, sprawling, bright fields of canola flowers i pass on my way to work. i’ve drawn them before so i kept it small and simple(ish) but i still like how it turned out.May 23, 2024
