Pre-New Year Shopping!
Something quick for Them. We went to buy a bunch of food today and there was a display of Martini bottles in little costumes with zippers and sequins and stuff. Who and why came up with that, we'll never know.I call Martin "Martini" when talking to my friends, so this popped into my head immediately. Albert wouldn't mind if Martin bought it, actually, but he'd surely be bewildered.
Also in Russia New Year has more national weight than Christmas, even though the theme and the start of all the sales is slowly blending them together. Our Christmas is on the night from 6th to 7th of January and I don't remember why. It has something to do with the change of our calendar system, I believe? Don't quote me on that.
