Julianne "Jules" Faraday - Outfit ConceptsSo! Reading SOTR got me thinking hard about my District 3 Victor OC from the Hunger Games fanfic I wrote in 2022. Unfortunately the new book created some inconsistencies between the fic and canon (SOTR is the 50th games, Jules is the 53rd), but overall her story still holds up!
In a world where I had infinite time, I'd edit the fic to be canon compliant, but I'm in no mood to jump back into that 120k word beast of a fic rn
Either way, it led me to finally draw all the important outfits Jules wears in the fic: a project I've wanted to do since I wrote it. <3
She's 14/15 here (her birthday is the climax of the story), but I've been thinking a lot about her epilogue - particularly with how to better tie it into canon events. I also think in the twenty year window between her games and Catching Fire she should get together with Wiress: because Jules fumbles young love so badly in her own story, and because I think she and Wiress have reasons to grow close, and because I never do oc x canon stuff, and because it's cute and because I said so. so
. yeah! Maybe I'll draw some of Jules' epilogue. :)
