Hamza does want companionship, but he's too scared of it due to how he was treated by the people in his life. He does get friends tho and they help him slowly get more comfortable having this need
Andol is more afraid of being abandoned and left alone. His ptsd was undtreated for seven years and he was gaslit by his own mother that he has to keep quiet about it, which made him more distant and lonely while also making him crave for companionship

I think all humanoids at least have a need for companionship to some degree, so all my OCs do feel it. 30% deny that though.
