BIO/BACKSTORY: Debby Clarkson is a lonely, depressed teenage girl who is constantly picked on and ostracized by everyone around her due to her clumsiness, quirky appearance, and poor social skills. One night, while trying to make friends, Debby accidentally frees a ginormous tribe of ghost-like creatures bent on world-domination, called “spirits”, from their stone-prison. Now, Debby has to balance out her life between being an average teenager, and saving the world from her mistake.
TRIVIAL:
* Debby didn’t live in MeadowView her entire life. She was born and raised for the first few years of her life in the next town over, Sundale, but had to move to MeadowView after her mom died in a car accident when she was around ten.
* Debby is an only child, so are both of her parents as only children actually run in her family. Before the car accident though, Debby’s parents were planning on breaking this tradition by having another child. In fact, Debby’s mom was probably pregnant when she died.
* Debby’s favorite colors are blue and yellow. She likes blue slightly more though and wears it most of the time.
* Debby’s most favorite writers and inspirations are Ray Bradbury, John Green, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Willaim Shakespeare.
* Debby is ambidextrous, but prefers is and slightly better at using her right hand
* (!!! SU!C!DE TW !!!) Debby has attempted su!c!de three times in her life. All of them were failures.
* (!!! SELF-H@RM TW !!!) Sometimes, to punish herself or to cope, Debby cuts herself on her arms with a small blade. To hide the cut scars is the main reason she always wears long sleeves.
