Spirits reference sheet
Reference sheet for the main villains of my webcomic, the spirits!* The spirits were born centuries ago. They were all born at the exact same place, at the exact same time. Well, they weren’t really “born”, more like created. They were created by an evil witch named Hildy, with the intent to wipe out the human race and take over the world
* All spirits were born sexless (they don’t have any genitalia), and because of that, they cannot mate, nor can they develop sexual nor romantic feelings. As for gender, they can identity as any gender they want and go by any pronouns they want. There are male spirits, female spirits, nonbinary spirits. There are even agender spirits
* All spirits can understand and speak every single language known to man
* Spirits look so similar to ghosts that if someone were to look at one, they’d instantly assume they’re a ghost, but ghosts and spirits are actually completely different species
* Though spirits have various personalities, all of them (except Ginger) are evil and want to take over the world
* Standard spirit abilities are flying, growing and shrinking at will, and shapeshifting. Every spirit has their own unique ability. A unique ability is sorta like a superpower; it’s something one spirit can do but others can’t (ex. Making fire, making wind, going into people’s dreams, changing their voice.)
* Not even spirits are perfect. As they were artificially created, some of them have defects. When a spirit is defected, they don’t have one or more of the abilities they’re supposed to have
* No spirits have phobias. To have a phobia would be considered a defect
* Spirits cannot eat, and they don’t need to
* While spirits are immortal, they can be killed. Though, there is only one way to kill a spirit, and that’s hitting them hard on the head three times. May sound easy, but because of how quick and dangerous they are, killing a spirit can be the hardest and even stressful thing a human can do. Many knights have died trying to kill them
* while spirits can sleep, just like eating they don’t need to
BIO: Spirits are evil, ghost-like creatures. They were created 100’s of years ago by an evil witch named Hidly, and given the purpose to wipe out the human race. They were extremely dangerous, and unstoppable, until they were eventually trapped in a diamond-like stone by a good witch named Alo. One day, 100’s of years later, they were accidentally freed by a teenage girl named Debby Clarkson, and now they plan on taking over the world again, but not before they get Debby (who they believe is Hildy’s descendant) to help them.
