Daveigh Chase Tribute
Here's another tribute I made, it's a tribute to the American actress Daveigh Chase. She began her career as a child actress beginning with the 2001 psychological thriller film Donnie Darko and then in the 2002 horror film The Ring where she played the role of Samara Morgan. As a voice actress, Chase voiced Chihiro Ogiro in the English dub of the Japanese animated film Spirited Away (2001) as well as Lilo Pelekai in Lilo & Stitch (2002) along with the first direct-to-video sequel Stitch! The Movie (2003) and the tv series Lilo & Stitch: The Series (2003-2006). Chase later transitioned to adult roles including the HBO drama series Big Love (2006-2011) and independent films such as Yellow (2012) and Jack Goes Home (2006), her final acting role was in American Romance (2016), released during the time of her withdraw from the public eye and nearly ten years before her passing. During her career, Chase won three awards from six nominations, including the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement for Voice Acting and the MTV Movie Award for Best Villain.For this tribute, I drew three of her most well-known character roles which are Chihiro Orgiro (Spirited Away), Lilo Pelekai (Lilo & Stitch) and Samara Morgan (The Ring) and wrote "Rest in Peace Daveigh Chase 1990-2026" at the top left.Jun 29, 2026
