VolkTober 2023 | Day 20: The Gamesmaster

For Day 20 of VolkTober, I present The Gamesmaster, formerly known as Rubiks - I changed the name because copyright could be problematic. But problems are the name of the game for this villain, but not through causing them: solving them!

Through his oddly familiar garb and staff, it's no question that this villain loves to answer questions. Puzzles, riddles, and games are his domain. He teases his foes with traps and enigmas that would even make a skeleton blush! Step aside, amateurs, these games are for the geniuses in the room. The speed-cubers, the chess grandmasters, and the hidden object game champions are all invited to dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight.

Make no mistake - despite his wild hair, he is nothing like Syndrome. Unlike most villains, he isn't too keen on bringing death into people's lives... except one. The man who stole the concept for his magnum opus. The man who profits over his pain. The man who rose to fame while he, a humble game developer, fades into obscurity. For him, and him alone, it's not just a game. This man is playing for his life.

By the way, I drew the patchwork patterns on his outfit to each represent a "color" of the Rubik's Cube; he doesn't actually have those patterns on his outfit, but it helps to visualize what kind of suit he's actually wearing | I also just realized that I forgot to do the pattern on the ACTUAL CUBE ITSELF- You know what, it's fine... The sides can change color anyways so, just... okay
