Advent Calendar 2025 day 6: Silver Nights
Id done this idea before with some silver foil wrapping paper Id saved from a gift and figured I could go at it again. Ive been interested in revisiting ideas and techniques Id done before and this one was one of my top favorite looks. This silver paper is thick with deep embossed patterns, which makes it easier to scan than other foil samples I use.I originally got the idea from some fanart I saw of someone drawing on some Christmas themed Meiji chocolate packages and the brown paper packaging with the colored and foiled ornament shapes was a pretty contrast with the sketchy and cross hatched style of the art. If I ever find them in my area, I wanna try drawing on them. It’s kinda like junk journaling.
