Most of my characters it would be their families, as most of them do have families and are parents or siblings. That being said there are some out there responses from a few oc's.
Original places it all in himself, and doesn't put it into anyone else. He acts on moral but doesn't feel a need to be loyal to someone else.
Micah places all of it into his organization and his idea of the ultimate God, referring to his cult.
Oscar is to his only son. He has no family besides his son and will do anything for him, of course as time goes on Oscar eventually has a romantic interest but he chooses his son over everything at the end of the day.

The answer for all of my characters is family. Though most of the time their definitions of family is more of a found family. Whether is be lovers, parental figures, or siblings, they would all gladly die for the ones they hold dearest.
(I always give my characters atleast 1 meaningful connection, one person theyd kill the world for)
