Yes, dreams can be when the spirit is interacting in the spiritual realm. Sometimes dreams can be from your own desires, the devil, or God. The reason why dreams affect us so much is because it has a lot to do with the spirit and soul (emotion, mind, thoughts, heart, will). Sometimes eerieness can be the spirit of fear (which is from the devil) or it can be a warning of future events so you can be aware (usually from God, because He's trying to get your attention). I dream a lot so, I hope this information can help you out.

Dreams are strange because even if I forget the subject matter of them,, the “vibes” from them linger through the whole day. Like if I have a happy dream I usually end up in a good mood even if I forget what actually happened in my dream? The emotions linger for a while for some reason. If I get a weird creepy dream then the vibes are so off and I feel weird all day. I kind of hate it because most of my dreams are slightly eerie (not necessarily scary but eerie. Creepy vibes)
