Sawyer redraw
Took me more than two months to finish
and itās "just" a sketch aka no lineart or colouring, except the frame that ended up so ugly.. the sketch too looks messy but i kinda both like this as well as hating it
idk cant make up my mind wether i like it or not So the first metallic marker did not cooperate (even tested it somewhere else first and wprked fine but as soon as i used it on this page it started acting weird; it was both running out and then the ink would come out somewhere else instead ?? Making lines way too far from where i actually touched the paper with the nib? I have no idea what made it act this way.. had to go in with a different one (that was gold not copper..) to actually get proper lines where i wanted but then the clip holding the page down decided to pop off by itself so the paper moved making me draw where i wasnāt supposed toā¦ used white gel pen to try and fix stuff but it clashes with the tone of the paper..
Anyway, redraw of Sawyer, been too long since I drew her
Started this back in April and then it just sat there for a month before i tweaked it a bit and then sat for another couple weeks until i finished yesterday
Was tempted to do more with this but didnāt want to ruin anything with lineart..
Donāt really like how she looks here tho
But yeah just tried to clean up the sketch/refine the lines with a darker pencil, also to keep it similar to the old one from 2021, but certain lines were so hard to erase mostly the shoulder that i redrew even tho i swear i wasnāt that heavy-handed in my initial sketch?)

I remember liking it although the face still bugged me as well, so i guess iāve been waiting to redraw this for a good whileJun 5, 2025
