Ya es esa época del año de nuevo

Momento de retrospectiva, de análisis, de orgullo o decepción por igual. La última hoja del almanaque parece arrastrar el peso de las 11 anteriores. Llega la hora del brindis, ya sea para festejar y felicitarnos, o para ahogar las penas.
Mi año avanzó mucho más lento de lo que esperaba, pero lo importante es que no se estancó. Volví a las ferias, volví a viajar, y me reconecté con partes de mí que había olvidado, tapadas por barbijos usados, en el fondo de un cajón. Ahora lo principal es no bajar los brazos, no relajarse demasiado, y no dejar de avanzar y de crecer.
Todavía tengo cosas que hacer durante lo que queda del año, pero, de momento, levanto mi vaso para brindar con ustedes por tiempos mejores...

It's already that time of year again

Moment of hindsight, of analysis, of pride or disappointment alike. The last page of the calendar seems to carry the weight of the 11 previous ones. The time comes for the toast, either to celebrate and congratulate us, or to drown the sorrows.
My year progressed much slower than I expected, but the important thing is that it did not stagnate. I got back to the fairs, I got to travel again, and I reconnected with parts of myself that I had forgotten, covered by used face-masks, at the bottom of a drawer. Now the main thing is not to lower my arms, not to relax too much, and not to stop moving forward and growing.
I still have things to do for the remainder of the year. But for now, I raise my glass to toast with you to better times...
