The Love Talker
I've been studying faeries for my wip comic about faeries. One I found interesting was the Ganconer/Gancanagh/The Love Talker. He is a fae who takes human lovers and then disappears, leaving broken hearts in his wake. I was inspired by “A Huguenot on St. Bartholomew’s Day” by John Everett Millais and it's impending loss. The story behind this specific illustration is that of a girl who knows the terms of her relationship but dreads the end.Jul 16, 2024Comments
