Kyoko TsukiguniKyoko Tsukiguni is a fictional character in the Demon Slayer franchise. She is the daughter of Kokushibo, one of the Twelve Kizuki, and an unnamed mother. Her mother came from a clan known for their mastery of the Bloodstyle, a non-demonic form of blood manipulation. Like the Hashira, who possess wind, love, and water breathing techniques, this clan possessed the unique ability to manipulate blood. Kyoko's mother was known for her exceptional beauty, often compared to a goddess. One fateful night, Kokushibo in his demonic form came to their village with the intention of devouring its inhabitants. During the attack, he entered the bedroom of a woman whose beauty captivated him. To his surprise, the woman, despite witnessing his demonic appearance, was in love with him. She saw the atrocities he committed in her village as beautiful. Kokushibo took control of the village, married a woman, and together they had a daughter named Kyoko. When Kyoko was five years old, a violent feud broke out between her parents. In the midst of the conflict, Kokushibo murdered his wife. Little Kyoko, hidden behind the door, witnessed the whole gruesome scene. Fascinated by her father's actions, she began to play with blood. Kokushibo, noticing her, growled at her, considering devouring her as well. However, at that moment, Senjurio Rengoku arrived at their house. The villagers have been calling on him for a long time to free the village from the demon that plagues them. Shinjurio managed to drive off Kokushibo and took the young girl under his wing, providing her with shelter and protection. This series of events sets the tragic backdrop of Kyoko Tsukigun.
