ART QUESTION
Which are your favourite tools?
The one I use the most is my tablet with Photoshop or CSP, but I love doing little doodles, sketches and comics with a simple black ink pen and some colors in my sketchbook!

I’ve been trying to use more watercolors, but just plain old graphite pencils are my “comfort tools” if that makes sense??? Ashfjzfdjf

•Normally I’ll just do some normal sketches in my sketchbook, but whenever I do digital I like to use CSP (which is SO GOOD it makes my art so much easier and better lol)
•
•I normally draw digitally and ig that's my favorite way to draw but we started using dip pens recently in class and i love them so much!! They're so fun to use and always look great
•
•Oh my god don't get me started, I could talk for hours about how my favourite brands of traditional paints and inks behave compared to each other! And my fave palette! And my fave paper!!! I have TOO MUCH TO SHARE
•
•Digitally I used to work mainly with Gimp2 and a mouse, but I've upgraded to CSP and a tablet last year.
As for traditional media I use Ohuhu or CoolTouch markers (because I'm poor). For my watercolors I use Royal Langnickel Essentials and Artspaze watercolor paper

•my favorite is my tablet and csp but it’s nice to just draw with a pen or colored pencils in my sketchbook from time to time, I like ball point pens best for that!
•
•Digital(pixel art): Dotpict (its actually a community and also a drawing app.
Tradisional: Snowman waterbased marker :>

•I got Clip Studio recently and I'm in love
Medibang served me well too, and I love my screen tablet with its scrolling ring I use for zooming

•I'm in love with procreate and digitally art hehe, but on paper I like to just sketch with an ink pen or pencil and I really like to add colour with felt pens and colour pencils :)
I like journaling with paper scraps and washitapes too ^^

•Favorite tools, hmmm
Digitally, I actually have to say Medibang! on my computer. It was the app that I started drawing so it has a little special place in my heart and I use it to this day for a lot of stuff over Photoshop and Illustrator. Procreate is a good mention, esp bc of the imported sketching brush I have there which is just [mwah].
Traditionally tho, acrylic paint. I LOVE working with it. Also drawing with traditional ink and pen.

I'd definitely say I have a favourite sketching pencil. The dual colour blue and red caran d'ache pencils. They're the best. When I'm working digitally my xppen 22" is my go to tool.

clip studio paint changed my life and i use it on my screen tablet
as for traditional, i tried a lot of different mediums but sadly i struggle a lot with everything that involves holding a brush RIP.
the only think i enjoy doing in traditional atm is inking (with pens). i love doing lineart so that comes easy to me

oh and for digital I use Krita but now that I started working every client asks for vector illustrations so I HAVE to use illustrator

•
•a simple 2H pencil and a thick paper does the trick for me. For watercolor I'm in love with 100% cotton paper without much texture and soft brushes.
•
•I sketch by using color pencils and watercolours. Digital art I draw with microsoft surface tablet and krita. I have been thinking about investing in better program for a while, but im poor student and pretty comfortable with program I have been using since 2016.
•
•Procreate ;; I thought it wouldn't replace PS but here we are xD what I'm kind of afraid is that I haven't drawn traditionally in like, a year and a half, and at this point I'm too afraid to pick a pencil again :__D
•
•I prefer doing lineart traditionally with pencils (I love using a mechanical pen and soft pencils!) or brush pens then I scan it and color it digitally with CSP!
•
•I have a mechanical pencil by pentel and it's soooo smooth and it's a little bit wider than other pencils, so it's really comfortable to hold it.
