let's ignore for a moment that this was meant to be vent art, cuz it made me remember that Emma has a Very Weird constitution!!I mean, she was born as a normal human, but as she kept growing her parents would notice... weird stuff. Some days she would look completely fine! But other days, she'd have an extra finger; the color of her eyes would be slightly off, or her teeth would be in places they shouldn't be. Yet the weirdest thing would be when she "disappeared", with a pile of gray goo replacing her. That's a shapeshifters true form. But they can, and prefer, to remain as human as possible.
Emma's a funny case, though. She's the most powerful shapeshifter, and knows the real potential a shapeshifter posseses. She's capable of modifying every little part of her body as she wishes, as long as she knows what's she's doing. And not only did she figure out a way to "dispose" of her vital organs, but she knows how to make herself pretty much unkilleable. You'll shoot, aiming directly at her heart, and she won't even bleed. Her only weak spot is her brain, the silly piece of meat we barely understand. But she knows how to protect well her only weakness.Aug 16, 2024

God, this is such a cool way of portraying gore without blood and actual organs. Also her face is so unnvering, I love it. Great stuff!

on an actually-related-to-the-drawing note, this is inspired on how tired Emma is. She tried her best to be likeable, to fullfill her biggest dream... and she failed. Even her closest friend hates her (or so she thinks) because of her mistakes. She wants to change, she really does!! But she can't. She feels like she was born rotten, that there's no fixing her. Why do I keep trying? Why do I keep trying when I can end it all and stop wasting everyone's time? (no, I don't relate pftt hahah)
