Happy LGBTQ+ Acceptance Month everyone! Know that you are loved, respected, and accepted by those with kind hearts. My sympathy goes towards anyone still trapped in the closet or has suffered through things such as abuse or conversion "therapy."
Speaking of which, I too have been converted. But not in the way you would expect. Before I was a Christian, I was a lesbian. After Christianity, through communicating with God and His guidance, I'm now a homo-romantic asexual. So in a sense, God helped me discover my true sexuality, I'm happier than I ever was before... but I'm still LGBTQ+. This is why I believe that God isn't anti-LGBTQ+. God DID convert me, but still made me queer at the end of the day.
I believe the love of God belongs to everyone. He made you, He knows you, and He loves you more than you could possibly imagine. Be you gay, trans, non-binary, or any other kind of queer, you're still worthy of compassion. Never let anyone take away your humanity. You are made by God, therefor, you have a purpose and you have a place in the world.
May this month be an everlasting reminder of how much you're loved.Jun 5, 2024
