Do your OCs have any nicknames? How did they get that name?

Most nicknames just a shortening of their actual names. I only have 1 character with a nickname differing frm his actual name.

my oc Ophelia goes by Lia because she doesn’t like the story behind the name from Shakespearean plays 
so she forces ppl to call her that unless they want to witness her wrath

•Well Selene is called often "Lena" out of affection by friends and family. She's also called Columba/the Dove by a very select few of people for "unknown" reasons.
Hanami is an anti-heroine, so she has a couple of nicknames. Her codename is Yako, which comes from the malevolent counterpart of the Kitsune. Sometimes she's referred as Ao-Hana which means "blue flower" because her hair is navy blue and she's regarded to be very beautiful. But she gets called "freak," "parasite," and "monster" by her peers because of her demonic abilities (they're jerks.)

She can also be called Dragon Lady, or Little Lady ( by the other dragons, as she used to be the youngest dragon alive for a while )

It's a good enough nickname
Goupil :
She's called Fox Lady by everyone...because she is litterally a fox lady. Very few know what her actual name is ...
Goupil is also a nickname btw ( it's the old french word for Fox )
Halloween :
Generally shortened to Hally, which she use when disguised as a human
Hamelinn :
One of her nicknames is "Protector of Youth"
Hamelinn is a demon that has a particular soft spot for children. She would never harm them like she does for adults, and she is known by other demons and gods of death to even go out of her way to protect children, hence this nicknames.
She is also known by many humans with this nickname.

My OCs just have nicknames derived from their actual names, like Anthony is called Ant and Orion is called Ry or Oreo xD

Townsfolk know Laura as "the architect" cuz, well, she was an architect. Helped to rebuild the city, worked at the mines... and Wormtail has a tail that looks like a worm, thas all :P

I believe all of my characters from Black Marks have nicknames and i tend to refer to them by there nicknames too.
For example Sinnrē's full first name is Sinnhurr and Yana's name is Dahayana
For my recent character in a different project, PU01, Uknownman01...his nickname is Chicken sh*t due to his backstory

Nekomata/ Demon Ghost Cat of Feng Valley: her job is to pretend to be a demon and terrorize her boss’s Nemesis. I felt like she deserved a silly title. The people of the village she terrorizes probably came up with that.

Usually it's derived from their names, such as Freya whose real name is actually Fredrika Lyka, then I shorten it up a bit to become Freya (FREdrika LykA)
As for my characters like Cassandra and Nekane, I use I give them something cute that is derived from their names like
Cassandra- Cassie/Cass
Nekane- Annie/Anne
