Part 3 of my Hourly Comic Day posts!

In case it's hard to read, it says, "3 P.M. - designed this alpacat (half alpaca, half cat) as a stand-in for my real self"

I don't know if this would be a persona for me or if it's just a little stand-in character for me, but!!! For so many years now I've wanted to make my dream of an alpacat come to life, and when I was initially starting to draw for Hourly Comic Day, I Was going to use how I actually look (cartoonified, of course), but then after the first pass of that I realized I didn't feel comfortable with that at all and basically brainstormed all night until I fell asleep on what I'd draw in place of my irl self

And then I remembered that years back I was obsessed with alpacas, and bc alpacas are tall little guys and I myself am a tall little person I figured that'd be a good go-to to represent me. However, it wouldn't fully represent me if I also didn't throw in the added element of my ultimate love for animals in life: in this case, that ultimate animal love going to cats. So, to fit both the tall aspect as well as the favorite animal aspect into this character/persona, I ended up just mashing the two together into an alpacat and called it good enough KJKLGSJKLKS

I might try and revisit this design in the future maybe if I feel dedicated enough to it, but for now I'm just glad to finally get this creation out of my brain after years of waiting for myself to act on it JKSKLJDGKLJS
