Some thoughts on CSP's new companion mode:
- it seems to only work with Galaxy devices in the S or Note series, which is stupid. I have a Z flip3, a rather expensive phone. I didn't pay for this phone to be told it isn't expensive enough to get fun features.
- it really should have its own dedicated app for it, as many people will never use CSP on mobile for anything other than the Companion Mode. CSP is a huge program and to just use the Companion Mode is a waste of space.
- I have heard people say you have to buy an Android license to use Companion Mode even if you won't otherwise use it on Android, but I saw no indication that was the case. That being said, that would be extremely egregious if true. I will not pay an extra $6 a month to use a single feature of an app, especially when I have already given Celsys a lot of money for their full Windows program and their Tabmate (which I love, both are absolutely worth the money).Mar 1, 2022
