What do you guys think about people who print out / use art they find online, without a) purchasing the art or b) giving (proper) credit?
I’m torn because on one hand, they’re not impersonating the artist or directly harming them, but at the same time it feels disrespectful to the artist, and also ruins the value of printed merch like prints.

I, too, agree that personal use is good. Many people have Mucha's prints framed in their house as decor, bc it fits the aesthetic of the room.
If it was a theft, then having ANY framed photo you didn't take is a theft. Which is ridiculous, many people have framed photos all over their walls.
However, if the person takes a picture of the framed prints and says he/she painted them, that's not okay.

personal use is fine, but if they post it online then credit is nice though i wouldnt be too upset as long as they arent claiming/implying it to be their own. (eg. tracing it onto a shirt and posting the process.)

personal use is fine with me, too. tho i doubt the quality of the pics of my work that i post online are good enough to print out at all

If it’s just for personal use it’s fine. It becomes an issue when they are profiting off of it

•When it comes to just printing it out to put on a wall i your bedroom or using it as a wallpaper on phone it's okay. But if they want to use it onlile or something like that then at least credit the creator, or buy it if it's not free to use

•I feel iffy about it too the only way I’d accept this if A. The person printing and the artist are same person or B. The printer and the artist are like partners/ working together so they’re both getting paid
