Howl
"Here they come!"- I've really wanted to draw this scene for a while and I finally did
I love the environment and his pose and such. For this I did keep most of the original lighting from the movie screencap, and much of the same pose obviously. I did add my own little flair and stylization of course. For his eyes I kept my usual style that I use for the girls I draw, because i felt it fit him and his pretty-ness.
I'm mostly wondering how the shading looks as well as his shirt since I'm not very good at clothing and fabric folds and shading
or any other constructive criticisms you may find! Thank you

ā¢Hi there! I think this is a really lovely piece! It has a very nice painterly texture! I really enjoy your shading style, and I think you did well with his shirt! A tip for creating folds in fabric is to try and think of where the tension in the shirt is, such as when an arm is folded; which I think you did well! The only fold that looks off to me is the one overlapping with Howl's arm, since his arm would likely hold the shirt down, unless he moved it upwards. It's a very small fold, and I'm no expert, so please don't take that harshly! I think this is a lovely piece regardless, and I really enjoy it!

ā¢Hello ! Colours are very nice and soft ! I like his face expression. I think the left shoulder is a bit awkward or too large. And the cloths folds on his elbow are not enough and not in the good direction :). Nice art anyway
