1920s Fashion ChallengeDraw your character dressed in 1920s fashion!
“Twenties fashion is often remembered for its glitz and glamour, though underlying this was a move toward simplicity in dress. For women, this meant shorter skirts and simple shapes, while men enjoyed casual suits.” (https://fashionhistory.fitnyc.edu/1920-1929/)
Consider your character’s usual style, and how it intersects with the fashions of the era. Would they embrace the newfound comfort of knitted fabrics in daywear, the obsession with Egyptology, the elaborate beadwork of evening gowns?
I encourage you to read up on misconceptions about 1920s fashion, but if you’re excited to draw your character in a fringed miniskirt with a feather boa and strings of pearls, don’t let me trample on that! In fact, I encourage you to check out Erté’s illustrations of fantastical costumes if you’re aiming for over-the-top glamour.

20s western fashion is Martin's entire wardrobe (pre-retirement) so if I have the spoons for this I will do my absolute best! In the meantime, I genuinely like Fontaine's neck, it looks relateable. A fellow long neck
