Marinière 💙⛵⚓I KNOW I said I was going to post this a while ago but yk... Finals 😁

Now a little context on the sailor, or marinière in french!
Disclaimer : I'm of course not a pro in history of fashion, I invite you to do you own research 🗣️‼️

The sailor, in France, is both the marine military uniform and the undershirt wore underneath (the striped shirt!)
In 1916, Coco Chanel decided to turn this undershirt into a daily worn cloth.
She designed a shirt that would be worn by women, it was quite risqué since the sailor was known to be a 'man outfit' !
But it did work well, soon enough the sailor, or 'marinière' became a representative of the french fashion!
Here I decided to put my character Adrian in this outfit bc I'm obsessed with the sont plus I like the sailor uniform and ofc I wore a marinière when I was young 🤧
I still kept the uniform on top! But it's not the french military navy one so please don't go on comment section and tell me what I did wrong with it, it's purely an aesthetic choice 🙏
