Jamie! I feel like this post looks really simple but it’s the first time I’ve really played with lighting,,, so I like it! Anyway, critiques and tips would be very much appreciated!

That is a very cute illustration. The butterflies coming out of the wand are just generally a wholesome concept.
About the lighting, is there supposed to be light source inside the building? If not you could make the shadows more intense. After all the side of her the viewer sees should be in shadow then.
(If you want I could draw over a screenshot and dm it to you inorder to show you what I mean, this is totally up to you though. I know some people don't like others messing with their stuff)
Another thing, do you know about layer modes? Layer modes like multiply and add can make lighting effects much easier.
Last but not least, little tip, if you draw bricks try not making them perfect rectangles. Real brick walls are a little bit uneven! Some wobble makes them feel more real :)
