Okay originally this was going to be a normal post but then I just rambled and rambled about her name as I wrote the caption so obviously she has to go here XD

Some name stuff! When she was first created, her villain name was actually The Matron :D It felt kinda gross to me though? Something something mother figure villains felt overdone in the specific style I was going for, and I just didn't like the vibes :( I felt like I was disrespecting Walker so it was Not It T^T (Of course, there's nothing wrong with villains that have matriarchal energy!! I just wasn't satisfied with the way I executed the concept.)
As a placeholder, I changed her alias to The Lullaby instead - the vision was that Walker was an immortal given the status of a bogeyman to get kids inside once it got dark. "The kids who stay out will get taken by the Lullaby, left to forever wander in the streets, asleep and trapped in their nightmares" - vaguely Pied Piper in the vibes
It wasn't precisely what I was going for though, so I let it sit for a little while longer until I thought up "The Sleepwalker" :D Her urban legend is the same, but I feel like it's a bit more accurate to the most notorious ways she uses her powers.
Walker's powers are kinda 2-in-1? She can telekinetically control organic matter, and she also has the ability to "rewind" organic matter. She'd use it in altercations to knock her enemies out before puppeteering their bodies to attack others - witnesses likened it to sleepwalking in a twisted manner, and so the epithet was passed around. My dream is that when I animate Walker using her powers, I make her puppets rotoscoped :D there's something so uncanny /pos about the way rotoscope looks and I think it would be so banger hehe, it really adds to why she's terrifying as an urban legend B) (imagine a whole parade of rotoscoped people walking down your streets?? Horrible 0/10 I think it would look so cool sjdnsns)
(Also Walker isn't her actual name ansjs I'm just being mysterious

Oh her powers sound awesome!! I'm glad you chose to go the route of the Sleepwalker because it's such a fascinating concept. I love her color palette and the pattern on her dress and boots, they make her design so interesting ahdhsj also is that lavender on her left boot? If so that'd be apt since lavender is supposed to help with sleep lol.
