Happy New Year! Anyone from Germany or countries with similar firework laws, how'd New Years go? Any hospital visits? How many fireworks, how chaotic was it? Dinner for One? The same procedure as every year?
I hope not! I feel like I heard a lot more fireworks everywhere than I did before covid before it was illegal for 2 years. Also the fact that none of us got hurt tonight is surprising considering most of the newly bought Böller were half broken. One rocket didn't even try to go up and just blew up right in front of us bahaha
Also one of my spinning firecrackers chased after me, and a neighbor landed either a small rocket or a firecracker on our balcony. It'sbeen fun, I love Silvester/New Years!Jan 1, 2023

I got a migraine at around 10 pm and of course everyone had to go insane with the fireworks after 2 years of nothing. Makes me almost glad that my rabbits died a few months earlier, they'd have heart attacks over the noise... (I'm not joking, rabbits can literally be scared to death)

•I‘m from Germany as well! I actually had a different experience. It was unusually quiet for me living in a somewhat bigger city. I mean of course there were some cracker sounds before midnight but it was really tranquil given the fact that it was illegal for two years. Funnily enough in the morning at 8 o’clock I still heard rockets but that was only sporadic. Oh and I was able to flee the Dinner for One ceremony, which made it more enjoyable all together
