Celia is Samal's first girlfriend while in school. She's a year below him and is studying to become a military nurse. She first meets Samal during a sword fighting practice session at the school's arena. At first he sees her as simply a pest, but she slowly starts to fit in with his group of friends and ends up sticking around. Celia was the first person to develop a crush, and while Samal was resistant in the beginning, his feelings towards her start to shift and he realizes how great she really is.
Celia is eager to begin a relationship with Samal, but he was hesitant for a number of reasons. Eventually he took a chance and committed himself to her. She became his first girlfriend and he became her first sexual partner, and the two fell deeply in love pretty quickly. However, Samal's ongoing dependence on alcohol and painkiller addiction following a sports related injury forced her into a caretaker role about a year down the road. Samal ended the relationship and continued on a downward spiral with his physical and mental health, but Celia never gave up on him and even saved his life during a suicide attempt. After his yearlong rehabilitation it was difficult for the two to truly part ways for their own sanity, but she remains one of his closest friends and biggest advocates. Even after he leaves his home for earth and begins a new partnership with Kiara, there is a light between them that will never die out.
