Blaze the Cat Redesign 
I made her a Siamese cat (or ig more specifically a Balinese cat since she has longer fur) but with the twist that instead of having darker fur on her extremities and muzzle, she has lighter fur. Because fire is lighter near the center.
I always really liked the South Asian influences in her early concept art (some of which did end up in her final design as seen with the bindi and kind of her necklace?) so I decided to really bring that to the forefront of this design. I looked at Indian couture for inspiration. I wanted her to look athletic but also regal, hence pants instead of a skirt.
I’ve said this before but in a hypothetical rewrite of Sonic ‘06, I’d replace Elise with Blaze, having her be the princess of Soleanna. No Sol Dimension. Time travel I can take or leave, though I’d prefer to leave it.
