Reverse AU redesignsrevisiting these characters again. my art skills and evilness have increased tenfold since the last time I drew them

Scourge is a suppressor, basically a government lackey/mercenary. I think the Archie approach of making him a crooked king was a good idea, and shows just how well the writers understood Sonic and friends, but I prefer Scourge being subject to someone else and carrying out their orders instead of the other way around.
Miles is Scourgeās parole officer, he uses magic to shapeshift into an adult disguise. Scourge discovers this and uses it to blackmail him, thus causing distrust and turbulence in their dynamic. Theyāre still kind of sort of brothers out of sheer desperation and forced proximity, but they also hate each other. Things could be better.
Seraph is around! He seriously wasnāt made to live and thrive inside the Reverse AU but he finds ways to cope. He delivers mail. Heās got skates. He loves his friends and puppies and kitties and sunshine :) he lives with Anti-Rouge/Mauve. Anti-Maria wants to kidnap and experiment on him (?). Everythingās cool.
Iāve decided that for the Reverse AU Iām going to leave the Archie cast behind. I was never absolutely crazy about the Freedom Fighters, or conversely the Suppression Squad, but stuck with it out of a sense of obligation; Anti-Mobius was born in the Archie comics, so thatās the cast of characters I have to stick with, right? But Iām just gonna do my own thing from now on. The only Archie specific characters who maintain any relevance are Scourgeās father (still dead as hell btw) and his Uncle Charles. Basically Iāve shifted focus from the comics to the games.

Like I think itās sooo good that the writers post-KP recognized that the perfect opposite of Sonic was a king. Sonic is defined by his freedom and his status as a liberator. Kings are the exact opposite of that.
Of course this thoughtful self-reflection from the writers only makes the Sonic Pro-Monarchy bootlicking arc even worse but at least they resolved it relatively quick and focused mostly on the conflict between Sonic and Tails
