"Ochichi" | Story Lore Challenge

Story lore challenge 8: an animal
So I drew these creatures called "ochichi" not sure if I’ll just have that as a temporary name and change it later or keep it but it’s what I came up with back when I was like 13-14 very early in the making of this story. Mention of bl00d below

So these creatures are some blood-thirsty monsters, they prey on other animals and elves, humans etc. – mind you there aren’t really humans in this world usually, our main characters just happened to fall through an old, defect portal.. but the ochichi prey on species they can suck blood from basically so that includes humans. They lure their prey closer by changing their appearance to something that appeals to the prey, so for example in one of the scenes in the book they appear as cute, fluffy animals you would want to pet, wich is how Vinni and the other kids learn the hard way how heinous these creatures actually are …. I might’ve just spoiled one of the scenes lol

They’re mostly active from dusk till dawn, lives and hunts in packs, and are scared of water; so you can easily scare them away with a water bottle or something, or you can run into a creek or river to get away

A bit low-effort art for today’s prompt but I started it pr late.. also I’ll be going away this weekend so not sure if I’ll do the next few prompts
