I feel like anyone can be an artist since it's just skills that can be taught. But I do notice that certain personalities tend to gravitate towards it, likely because most art is self taught so sticking with it through childhood takes some passion or belief that you can do it.

I'd say things can always be a mix of both. I grew up watching my parents paint, but it was my desire to learn how to improve my art skills. You can always learn how to do art and you can always be naturally good at it.. so I'd say yeah anyone can be an artist.

•I just figure some people are born with good eye sight and that can help with figuring out details, but ultimately the skill as an artist is observation and interpretation.
Anybody can learn to draw or paint, etc, but some people are able to pick up these skills easier cuz they have a natural tendency.
