Peace on Earth
Here's another painting I've completed, here I used a round canvas and before I did any actual painting, I used a bunch of ripped strips of newspaper along with grocery store ads and used Mod Podge to glue the pieces of newspaper onto the canvas. Then I tried to figure out what I could paint over the newspaper glued onto the canvas, and then it hit me as what I was doing with the newspaper on this canvas was basically recycled art and so I painted planet earth onto the newspaper covered canvas and added a piece sign over it. This was another painting technique experiment I did here and I'm proud of the result. especially that I have passion for the environment and I like the idea and concept of using recycled materials to make art out of.May 21, 2026#earth
