I’d be really curious to see a work in progress. Finished pieces are neat but humans connect to an artist when they can see their hand in a piece.
There was a study on this a while back where an artist stated that most pieces hit multiple final stages in their development and so she would try to draw realistic faces but find the balance between construction and their own conceived idea of what is finished :0 it actually doesn’t look all too messy if you get a feel for when you can stop
