Really wanted to capture Chadwick's likeness here and show his approval/passing on the mantle of the Black Panther alter ego to his sister Shuri
There's been a lot of controversy behind the decision not to recast Boseman as many fans feel that his story was not properly concluded from the first movie and as a result have chosen to boycott the film since Marvel did not listen to the petition to recast which gathered media coverage and over 60k signatures.
I enjoyed the film in parts and loved a lot of the performances, however I feel that as a whole it was far too long and bloated. I feel as though Leticia Wright is not quite the leading lady that I hoped for but maybe she will eventually live up to the legacy set by Chadwick in future projects.
How do you feel about the direction they went with following the tragic premature passing of Boseman and what are your thoughts on the movie?Jan 10, 2023
