She had read the news, thinking it was a bad joke or a hoax, until she came face to face with one of the infected. It was a horrifying sight, a pegasus being turned into a mindless, bloodthirsty creature. She barely escaped with her life, and since then, she had been on the run.
She had no idea where Scootaloo was. She hoped that she was safe, somewhere far away from the chaos and the carnage. She couldn't bear the thought of losing her, the little sister she didn't know she needed. She vowed to find her and protect her, no matter what. That was her sole purpose, her reason to survive. She didn't want to think about if she died. She only knew she had to find her, and she didn't know what she would do if she didn't.
