King Shining Armor & Princess Flurry Heart- Infection AUSHINING ARMOR:
In a land ravaged by a mysterious plague, King Armor must lead his ponies in a desperate fight for survival. A fierce warrior and a loving father, he faces enemies both within and without his kingdom. His wife, Queen Cadance, is his closest ally and confidant, but she, too, is haunted by the horrors of the disease. Their daughter, Princess Flurry Heart, is a spirited and skilled fighter, but she longs for a normal life beyond the palace walls.
King Armor often thought of his little sister and his parents, who ruled and lived over in the neighboring kingdoms. He had not heard from them since the plague began, and he feared the worst. He wondered if they were still alive or if they had succumbed to the disease or the chaos that followed. He wished he could send them a message or even see their faces one last time. But the borders were closed, and no one dared to cross them. It would've been suicide.
FLURRY HEART:
The princess was curious. She had heard about the infection, a terrible sickness that made ponies into monsters. She had seen her parents, the king and queen, worry and work all day and night. They had told her to stay in her room, to be safe and quiet, but she wanted to know more. She wanted to help them. She wanted to be with them.
She snuck out of her room and wandered around the castle. She saw the soldiers, the doctors, the mages, the servants, all busy and scared. She saw the walls, the gates, the towers, all fortified and guarded. She saw the fires, the smoke, the blood, all signs of war and danger. She did not understand much, but she felt something was wrong.
