the lost and found.this piece holds dear to my heart for multiple reasons :,) one is because it's the only digital art piece i actually finished in more than 6 months. two is because this is an art style I'm very happy with! and three is because the initial idea/sketch of this came from the time I was in a bad place mentally around 9 months ago.

this is a mix of emotions I had during those hard times and the times I was finally starting to rise up from the bottom of the pit. it was a bit conflicting cuz I made a sort of comfort zone in the darker parts of myself which was hard to let go off when I finally started to get better, if that makes sense! that's why this is mostly blue, a color associated with sadness but also peace/calmness. the dress is green only because I've wanted this green dress for a long time now 0-0 she also has something tied around her ankles, something like a rope that was snapped off at the end, showing that she was once tied down and trapped but managed to get out of it and is now floating back up to the light and the surface after feeling drowned for so long.

Aaaa I love this!! It’s also such a relatable piece to me too, and I enjoyed reading your descriptions of it. I also like how the wave behind her strays away from the blues and purples to become something more colorful, almost like her wave of thought has shifted from what it used to be
