But generally, no, it sounds like most regular schools don't have much for artists.

Every school is different and majority of my friends think it does for their school but my school only started ever paying attention to artists now but still shafts us and when we do get noticed, they think we can draw masterpieces in 5 minutes

In AZ k-12, heck no. Especially k-8, it had 0 education about art history, styles or movements; only crafts and basic terminology. 9-12 had some genreal lessons on styles, mediums; but little on career/history.
Funding for those programs got cut severely; followed by P.E. and food.
Most supplies came from the teacher's pocket, not the school.

Assuming you mean primary or secondary (elementary/high school), with this. It probably depends on the school, some have better budgets and some focus on different things.
My rural, sports focused school definitely did not.

•I was privileged enough that my HS school offered a variety of arts in the curriculum including AP courses for 2D and 3D art. However, the average US art curriculum is tragic
•
•Nope! No way! Most schools have art classes but they don’t consider it a valid career option and more of a fun extra class.
•
No. Even tho we have Art Club and everything..people in it get called some very VERY mean things!

•My middle school had little to no art program, it felt like a joke and people treated it like one.
Fortunately I found a preforming arts school a few districts away, and I start on my illustration degree at CCS next fall.
But most people are not anywhere near as lucky as me
