Hades Design

Bro is decomposing.

Symbols/Themes:
- Wealth: Gems and metals were seen as gifts from Hades, as the Underworld was geographically considered to be underground. So I decked him out in gold and gems.
- Bident: Two horns.
- Pomegranate seeds: As well as representing wealth, the rubies on his necklace thing are meant to represent pomegrante seeds. Persephone gets the flowers, he gets the insides. Speaking of insides—
- Decomposition: As the god of the dead, I thought it'd be cool if Hades took on the characteristics of them. So, his skin color is desaturated and he's covered with open wounds, as well as the skin on his stomach is translucent. Also his arm bands and bracelets are supposed to be like the bindings of a funeral shroud.

His wounds all have stories behind them:
- Shoulder wound is from when Hercules shot him with an arrow.
- Teeth marks on his arm are a reference to the painting "Saturn Devouring His Son", which in some interpretations is considered to depict the god Kronos eating his kids, among which would be Hades.
- The teeth marks on his leg, however, are absolutely from Ceberus.

Hades doesn't believe in bandaging wounds. He has so many infections
