I use multiple layers for the shadow in multiply. The first one is always the same Color as the base colour. The second and + depends on the mood I want in my piece (cold/warm) and is mostly experimenting with Color’s

Totally depends on base colours as well, but usually I pink something in the gem tones? (Cool yet oddly warm?) so like a magenta, a purple based pink, a purpley-blue etc,,, it’s usually pretty saturated if I’m working in multiply just because it darkens quite a lot anyways (I usually also lower opacity)

i tend to use purple, or darker tones of whatever color i want to shade with for multiply mode 
overlay i use a saturated color of whatever i'm shading with for it, i usually use overlay for highlights tho

I don't use it often but here's the tip
If the lights are warm, use a colder shadow, if they're cool, use a warm shadow
Saturation it's on you

It depends, but for a standard piece, I usually go for a dark brown and then lower the opacity

My go to for multiply is usually a magenta, some hue of purple or blue.
I think my overlays depend on the type of piece I'm making,

It depends a lot on the base color and the mood you want. I usually use blue/purple in multiply and yellow/orange in overlay. As they're contrast colors, it gives a nice ambience. It's warm, tho. If you want a colder ambience try using other colors

Depends. Usually I go for cool shadows and warm light. My shadows 90% of the time cool, desaturated blue or purple. I like to build my shading up, so if I need darker shadows, I pick a darker colour.

•It depends on the feel I’m going for but it’s usually a range from reds/oranges to purples/blues, and usually pretty saturated bc I tend to change opacity. I also just recommend doing a bunch of trial/error putting in different colors until you find something you like
