The Archangel: Redux

I’ve redesigned Him so many times but I’m pretty happy with this one. I’ve always wanted to give Him a Howl’s Moving Castle jacket but couldn’t figure out how to do until now. His fur is gold in the way that Princess Celestia is pink in that it would cause crazy miscommunication with toy manufacturers lmaoo. He wears a veil over His face when He’s doing business

About that eyeball monster, The Archangel had to do some FIGHTING to secure His position. It’s nearly impossible to destroy the soul of an angel, so instead of bothering He conjoined them into a mass that can’t go anywhere. It’s slowly but surely trying to escape from where He put it, so that’s kind of a problem but whatever. This part of the story is more Greek mythology inspired with the previous powerful angels (celestials) being like the Titans who eventually get defeated.

The Archangel is a God stand-in, but He’s not omnipotent per se…powerful, of course, but more omnipresent in that He’s got many Watchers (who’s eyes He can see through), so He has the potential to know what’s going on pretty much anywhere at anytime The angels and to an extent the human souls residing in the Overworld worship him as the highest being, but He’s more the (supposed) chosen one of the universe than anything.
