Story lore challenge 7: A place or character name you really like and its meaning
Okaro and Salix are my favourite names I think, Okaro means either ‘firstborn, great pride, or natrual born leader/king’ (hard to find the meaning and origin online..) while Salix means ‘willow’ in latin
So I thought I made up the name Okaro (wich was not his original name btw I changed it to that later) but when I once went to google it just to make sure it didnt mean something bad in any language, I found out it’s a common name although mostly used as a surname? But it actually fits him even though it was coincidental bc I didn’t know the meaning when I renamed him. Salix’ original name was also something else that I changed later, a much more silly name I made up when I was 12 (half the cast has gotten new names lol)
Bonus: I also really like the name Paloma, it means Dove and is basically a name I got from The Brothers Lionheart by Astrid Lindgrend hehe
